The 2025 Women’s Rugby League World Series is almost here, and the London Broncos Women will be proudly represented across three nations in this historic tournament.
Set to take place in Brampton, Canada on Tuesday, October 21st and Sunday, October 26th, this will be the inaugural staging of the Women’s World Series, the final qualification phase for the 2026 Women’s Rugby League World Cup. This landmark event brings together elite players from around the globe, and we’re thrilled to see six of our Broncos stepping onto the international stage.
🇨🇦 Lauren Mueller — Canada Ravens

A powerful runner and consistent performer, Lauren Mueller continues her strong international career with the Canada Ravens. Her leadership and experience will be vital as Canada competes on home soil, aiming to make history in front of their fans.
🇮🇪 Iona McCusker, Jade Walker & Polly Roberts — Ireland

A trio of Broncos stars will don the green of Ireland:
Iona McCusker, known for her work rate and defensive tenacity, adds steel to the Irish pack.
Jade Walker brings flair and creativity in attack, ready to make an impact on the scoreboard.
Polly Roberts, a dynamic presence, will provide stability and spark on the field.
Together, they’ll be key figures as Ireland push for qualification in this historic series.
🇳🇬 Danyelle Shobanjo & Aminah Olaniyan — Nigeria Green Falcons

Making their mark for the Nigeria Green Falcons, Danyelle Shobanjo and Aminah Olaniyan represent an exciting new chapter for African rugby league. Both players have been valuable new talents for the Broncos, and now bring their power, skill, and determination to the international arena as Nigeria aim to make waves in their World Series debut.
The entire London Broncos Women’s family is incredibly proud of our players’ achievements and can’t wait to cheer them on as they take the field for their countries.
🌎 The Teams Battling for World Cup Qualification
Four nations will compete in this high-stakes series for one final World Cup qualification spot:
Canada – Americas winners (and hosts)
Fiji – Asia-Pacific runners-up
Ireland – European playoff winners
Nigeria – Middle East-Africa champions

Only one nation will advance to the 2026 Women’s Rugby League World Cup, making every match in Brampton a must-watch spectacle. Expect fast-paced, physical rugby league at its best, as the sport continues to grow globally and break new ground for women’s participation.
