London Broncos Women CELEBRATE THE SEASON SO FAR AT THE CLUB END OF SEASON AWARDS DINNER

The London Broncos family came together for a fantastic night at The Cherry Red Records Stadium to celebrate another successful season. Players, staff, supporters, and sponsors gathered under one roof to recognise the achievements of both our men’s and women’s teams and to look ahead to an exciting future for the club.

The evening began with a reflective speech from Gary Hetherington, who spoke about the bright future for rugby league in London. He highlighted the club’s new ownership, ambitious plans, and the very real potential for both the men’s and women’s teams to be competing in the Super League next season. Hetherington also praised the remarkable journey of the women’s side this year, capped off by their Grand Final appearance this coming weekend.

The women’s squad delivered an outstanding season of skill, resilience and passion, and their achievements were honoured as Head Coach Colin Baker kicked things off by naming Kathryn Salter as Coaches’ Player of the Year for her consistent performances and leadership. Lauren Mueller picked up both the prestigious Woman of Steel and Players’ Player of the Year award, presented by team captain Courtney Treco, who praised Mueller's commitment and energy both on and off the field. Rosie Cairns was recognised as Breakthrough Player of the Year for an incredible comeback season following the birth of her baby girl and a positional change, and Nicole Kennedy claimed both Top Try Scorer, with 17 tries scored in just 9 games, and Supporters’ Player of the Year, as voted for by the fans and presented by her sponsor Lee Bownes. Congratulations to all the award winners from both teams.
