London Broncos Women Proudly Represent at landmark London Rugby League Relaunch
London Broncos Women were proud to stand alongside the wider club at the official relaunch of Rugby League in London and the South, following the announcement of a bold new five-year vision by Gary Hetherington on Wednesday at Australia House.
The event, held inside the Australian Embassy’s Exhibition Hall, unveiled plans for a new ownership group, a refreshed club identity for 2026, and an exciting partnership with international sports advisory firm Freshwater Strategy to revitalise the London Broncos brand, both on and off the pitch.
It’s a pivotal moment for the women’s game too. After reaching the Quarter Finals of the Betfred Women’s Challenge Cup for the first time this season, London Broncos Women are ready to build on that momentum and play a key role in a thriving Rugby League community in the South.

Women’s Head Coach Colin Baker, sponsored by the Craig Family, joined a special panel hosted by Sky Sports presenters Jenna Brooks and Brian Carney. The conversation focused on growing the Rugby League community in London and the South, highlighting youth development and grassroots support.
Director of Rugby and Performance Mike Eccles reinforced the club’s commitment to developing homegrown talent, with a clear focus on rebuilding professional pathways for young players through plans to revive a London Broncos player academy.
As part of this exciting future, London Broncos Women are set to play a key role in strengthening the women’s game locally and nationally, ensuring opportunities for the next generation of female players.
