As we come to the end of the regular season for the London Broncos Women, we look ahead to the Championship playoffs and the possibility of promotion to the Women's Super League.

Broncos Women One Step from Playoffs
The London Broncos Women are on the brink of history, sitting top of the Northern Championship table with one round left to play. An unbeaten run of eight wins and a draw has put the team in pole position ahead of their final regular season fixture away at Hull FC. Victory, or maintaining their place at the top of the table, would secure a home semi-final and the chance to host the Grand Final.
It’s been a standout campaign for the Broncos, who transitioned into the expanded Northern Championship this year. Performances have impressed throughout the season, including a demolishing 48–0 win over Bradford Bulls, and a victory against second-placed Featherstone Rovers earlier in the season. The league restructure now means the pathway to promotion is clear: win the Northern Championship, then face the bottom Super League side in a playoff for a place in the 2026 Women’s Super League.
Off the field, the team is rallying support with a GoFundMe appeal to help cover essential travel and logistics costs as the squad prepares for the playoffs. From lifting the Southern Championship trophy in 2023 and 2024, to leading the Northern competition in 2025, the Broncos Women have shown consistent growth and success. With the playoffs now within reach, the next few weeks could mark a defining chapter for women’s rugby league in London.
